Hello!  I am Vincent Coccia and I have been teaching STEM for 10 years in several school districts in Chester County.  I taught middle school (6th-8th) STEM for 6 years and currently teach elementary STEM for the past 4 years (K-5th).  I also have coordinated a STEM Club for students in 2nd-5th grades and also a STEM Camp!  Over these years of teaching, I have realized that STEM/STEAM educational programs benefit children in a variety of ways especially in the areas of the 4Cs (Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Collaboration).  STEM/STEAM education allows children to "think outside the box" and develop confidence even through failure! 

 

I strongly believe that any child can create a STEM/STEAM project with proper guidance and encouragement! With each accomplishment, the child can develop confidence, courage, and motivation to tackle the next project, which translates into wonderful life skills!  All of these benefits can help your child develop the skills to accomplish their next educational or career related journey!  Thank you!
